This case-based online course will commence with introductory sessions on May 4 and conclude with a dedicated day of interactive case discussions on May 18. During the two-week interval, participants will analyse and independently report 50 cardiac CT cases in English. The cases will cover a broad spectrum of coronary and non-coronary cardiac pathologies aligned with Levels 1 and 2 of the European Training Curriculum for Radiology.
The course is designated for board-certified general radiologists and radiology residents who would like to improve their expertise in cardiac CT. After successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a certificate for solved cases in cardiac CT.

Across four intensive days, the programme covers the full spectrum of cardiac diagnostics, from foundational techniques in cardiac MR to cutting-edge topics like genotype-phenotype correlations, imaging in acute chest pain, MINOCA, and cardiac CT in asymptomatic patients. You’ll find dedicated sessions on cardiomyopathies, myocarditis, sarcoidosis, stress imaging, TAVI planning, and acute aortic syndromes — plus the hallmark “Teaching through Cases” sessions that bring theory to life through real-world problem solving.
The schedule also features daily case reading sessions with the experts, providing invaluable hands-on learning alongside the formal lectures. And, of course, the programme wouldn’t be complete without time to connect with colleagues over coffee breaks and lunches — the informal exchanges that often matter just as much as the presentations themselves.

I am delighted to invite you to the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR) Annual Meeting, taking place in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in October 2026.
Under this year’s inspiring motto, “Connect to impact,” we aim to connect ideas, disciplines, and people, to impact the cardiovascular imaging field. As cardiovascular radiology continues to evolve at remarkable speed, our shared strength lies in bridging gaps: between innovation and clinical practice, between established knowledge and emerging evidence, and between colleagues from all corners of Europe and beyond. A focus in the program will be on exploring how cardiovascular radiology can impact patient diagnosis and treatment.
Rotterdam, known for its modern architecture, bold spirit, and world-class innovation, provides the perfect backdrop for a meeting dedicated to building stronger links within our community. Join us for cutting-edge scientific sessions, hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, and plenty of opportunities to network and forge new professional connections.
We look forward to welcoming you to ESCR 2026 — where together, we build connections that impact the future of cardiovascular radiology.
Prof. Rozemarijn Vliegenthart,
ESCR 2026 Congress President
