ESCR Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am delighted to invite you to the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR) Annual Meeting, taking place in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in October 2026.

Under this year’s inspiring motto, “Connect to impact,” we aim to connect ideas, disciplines, and people, to impact the cardiovascular imaging field. As cardiovascular radiology continues to evolve at remarkable speed, our shared strength lies in bridging gaps: between innovation and clinical practice, between established knowledge and emerging evidence, and between colleagues from all corners of Europe and beyond. A focus in the program will be on exploring how cardiovascular radiology can impact patient diagnosis and treatment.

Rotterdam, known for its modern architecture, bold spirit, and world-class innovation, provides the perfect backdrop for a meeting dedicated to building stronger links within our community. Join us for cutting-edge scientific sessions, hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, and plenty of opportunities to network and forge new professional connections.

We look forward to welcoming you to ESCR 2026 — where together, we build connections that impact the future of cardiovascular radiology.

Industry Partners

ESCR Annual Scientific Meeting 2026, Rotterdam/NL

We have the honour and pleasure to invite you to the Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology – ESCR that will be held in Rotterdam/NL, from October 22-24, 2026.

We are happy to also this year offer various options to our industry partners to perfectly position your company and to reach out to international experts in non-invasive cardiac and cardiovascular radiology coming together from all over the world to share their knowledge in a friendly atmosphere and to benefit from an attractive and exciting congress programme

Main topics 2026

Radiology has always been a rapidly evolving specialty, closely linked to technical innovations but also actively contributing to a better understanding of pathophysiological processes in a wide variety of diseases. This is actually especially true in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, where new techniques including e.g. parametric MR mapping for tissue characterisation, non-invasive CT-based fraction flow reserve calculations, and evolving insights in the evaluation and treatment of valvular heart disease with CT/MR are leading to improved diagnostic possibilities and better patient care. The current annual meeting will provide plenty of opportunities to learn the latest insights into cutting-edge clinical imaging applications, not only through lectures by respected speakers, but also through a variety of dedicated workshops. Finally, the rise of artificial intelligence and big data is undeniable, with a growing impact on the workflow and position of the radiologist. Dedicated sessions will provide the necessary insights relevant to clinical practice.

SCAM WARNINGS – BE VIGILANT!

Delegates, participants, exhibitors and other partners are continually targeted by companies claiming to be, or work with, event organisers. They use existing event branding and may appear genuine. In the past this has included directories and hotel bookings, besides other requests.

Our official partners are listed on the conference website, thus we ask you to retrieve all information and guidance from there only.

ESCR has no impact on possible scam attempts and thus will not assume any liability for such activity. Please do inform us immediately if you receive anything unexpected, looking like potential scam or that you are unsure of.

What to do if targeted by a scammer

In case you encounter or receive scam:
Ignore completely and do not communicate in any way. Writing letters and responding to emails simply confirms that you exist and are available at the address/email address/number they have and therefore to continue or try to pursue a payment.
1. Alert us immediately
2. Do not pay anything
3. Do not communicate with the scammers even when they threaten legal action

Hotel booking agencies

Please beware of hotel booking companies who contact participants, speakers and supporting companies claiming to be either a preferred supplier or, in some cases, working for our event, that demand up-front payment, charge substantial penalties for changes or cancellation and may not even make a reservation with the unapproved hotel.
We advise that you make your arrangements through reputable suppliers and not via unsolicited phone calls or emails.

Unsolicited Marketing Communications

Companies are being targeted by agencies claiming to supply exhibitor/visitor/participant lists and details relating to our events and products at a cost. Be aware that this data is likely fraudulent. If you receive any such unsolicited offers, please do not respond unless you have checked with us first.

If you are unsure of any correspondence received, please contact us directly at office@escr.org.
