ESCR 2022 – REGISTRATION OPEN

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

After two years of pandemic and online events, we are delighted to announce that the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology annual meeting is planned as an in-person event in the evocative setting of the eternal city, Rome, between October 27 – 29, 2022. 

Despite the rise of new technologies and the virtual environment that expanded our society educational proposals, we strongly believe that attending in person provides a key networking opportunity and we would like our attendees to get the utmost benefits from it.

We have selected a unique congress location in the heart of the city, close to the Spanish steps, where delegates and world experts in the field of Cardiac Radiology will share their research, knowledge and experience.

The scientific programme will include educational lectures and round tables on issues of major current interest and controversy and will reserve a wide space to the practical aspects through the organization of hands-on workshops; to give a roman touch to the congress, we have decided that each session will be labeled with an explanatory Latin aphorism to be read and explained by moderators as an introduction. An important contribution will also come from Symposia organized by Industry. Finally, a significant portion of the scientific programme will be devoted to original scientific data via oral and poster presentations of abstracts selected by peer review as during previous meetings.

Last but not least, October is the best month of the year to visit Rome, it can be so pleasant weather-wise, with the likelihood of sunny days and warm temperatures, that the Romans have a name for it: ottobrata romana.
