Upcoming ESCR Educational Webinar 10
"(T)1, (T)2, 3? – MR mapping and beyond"

December 13, 2017, 17:00 CET
Speaker: Prof. Joachim Lotz, Göttingen/DE
Moderator: Prof. Fabian Bamberg, Tübingen/DE

Description
Myocardial mapping is believed to be the most potent tool of non-invasive characterization of myocardial disease. Especially the diagnosis of myocarditis and diffuse myocardial fibrosis seem profit from Mapping techniques. While many studies have been published about the strength of T1 mapping and derived parameters we do see voices that call for a critical view on the values that are already used as endpoints for multi-center clinical trials. This webinar will focus on how to implement this technique in daily routine work. It will discuss how to do quality control of your mapping , what are the proven and reliable indications for T1 mapping and where you should be cautious to use it. And some light will be shed on some techniques you can use to supplement the messages suggested by mapping techniques

Learning Objectives

-proven indications for T1 and T2 mapping
-common pitfalls and quality control in mapping techniques
-how to interpret T1 mapping and ECV mapping values

Registration is open and free for all active ESCR members.
